Obituary of Marie Cooper Hall

Warner Robins: Dr. Marie Cooper Hall, 85, passed away on Sunday January 24, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday at First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Dr. Jimmy R. Asbell Jr. and Rev. Missy Blumenthall will officiate. Dr. Hall was born in Troupe County, GA to the late Charlie and Rosa Woodruff Cooper. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Friendship Sunday School Class, the United Methodist Women and also volunteered in various other ways at her church. She was a graduate of the Robert E. Lee Institute in Thomaston, GA and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Northern Illinois College of Optometry. She was also a member of both the Georgia and American Optometric Associations. Survivors include her husband Ken T. Hall of Warner Robins. Sons; K. Thomas Marsha Hall and Mike Pam Hall all of Warner Robins. Sisters; Joyce Rogers of Warner Robins and Mildred Gutzke of Birmingham, AL. Grandchildren; Hannah H. Johnson, Amelia Hall, Joshua Hall and Caleb Hall. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 205 N. Davis Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31093. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Thursday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
