Obituary of Israel Ybarra Garcia

Lady Lake, FL: Israel Ybarra “”Ike”” Garcia, 77, passed away on Wednesday January 20, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday January 30, 2010 in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Rev. Mike Slade will officiate. Mr. Garcia was born in Victoria, TX to the late Rev. Fernando and Carlota Ivara Garcia. He was retired from the US Air Force and civil service with over 36 years of service. He was preceded in death by his son Samuel Garcia. He was a former resident of Bonaire, GA before moving to Florida. Survivors include his children; Dee Coleman of Warner Robins and Sandra and husband Greg Campbell of Chester, VA. Grandchildren; Sean Coleman, Rita Coleman, Jennifer Jackson and Sidney Garcia. Great grandchildren; Hannah & Hayden Coleman, Michael Coleman, Brooklyn & John Carl Jackson and Jennifer Ellis. Siblings; Rev. Andres Garcia, Lydia Severe and Fred Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be Sean Coleman, Eric Jackson, Patrick Henderson and Barry Miller. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
