Obituary of Col Ronald G. Combs

Warner Robins: Lt. Col. Ronald G. Combs, USAF RET, 72, passed away on Friday January 29, 2010. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Pastor David Brighton will officiate. Burial will be private. Lt. Col. Combs was born in Akron, OH to the late Delbert and Lillian Asher Combs. He was an active member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. He was retired from the US Air Force where he flew B52’s during Vietnam and the “”Cold War””. Survivors include his wife Carol Combs of Warner Robins. Children: John Combs of Warner Robins and Colleen Mark Crumpton of Atlanta. Grandchildren: Taylor Combs of Warner Robins, Kelly Crumpton, Cam Crumpton and Sonny Jennifer Crumpton all of Atlanta. Great grandchild: Campbell Crumpton. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 336 Carl Vinson Pkwy, Warner Robins, GA 31088. The family will greet friends following the memorial service at the church. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
