Obituary of Ruth W. Beard

Warner Robins: Ruth W. Beard, 79, passed away on Saturday January 30, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memory Gardens. Rev. Tom Black will officiate. Mrs. Beard was born in Tift County to the late Joseph and Mattie Sheppard West and was the widow of Carl B. Beard, Sr. She was a member of Revival Fire Ministries and retired from Middle Georgia Hospital. She was preceded in death by her son Stanly Beard and grandson Billy Lewis. Survivors include her children; Carl Pat Beard Jr. of Macon, Reba George Lewis of Warner Robins, Wanda Dickey Williams of Crawford County and Faye Ken Williams of Macon. Ten grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Monday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
