Obituary of Honor Margaret Rayner

Warner Robins, GA: Honor Margaret Rayner, 78, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2010 in a Macon hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 until 9 PM Wednesday and Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. Duane Fernandez will officiate. Mrs. Rayner was born in Cambridge, England. She was the daughter of the late Frederick John Lindsay and Rose Alice Hatley Lindsay. She was also preceded in death by her husband Roger S. Rayner, a sister Rose Hawes and son-in-law William James Gill, III, brothers Freddy, Derek, Brian, Herbert, Barry and Johnny. She was a homemaker, a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Survivors include her children Susan Gill of Warner Robins, Ann husband Bill Marie of Erie, PA, Sally husband Terry Buffington of Sunnyside, GA, Kathleen husband Terry Burns of England, Roger wife Susan Rayner of England, Peter friend Diane Varnom of Griffin, sister Pat McGrath of England, brother Neville Lindsay of England, sixteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society @ P.O. Box 4406, Macon, GA, 31208, in memory of Mrs. Rayner. Heritage Memorial Funeral is in charge of arrangements.
