Obituary of Wilda A. Nappier

Kathleen, GA: Wilda A. Nappier, 73, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2006, in the Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville. Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Perry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Saturday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Nappier was born in Hamilton County, TN to the late Daily and Rachel Neal Alexander. She was also preceded in death by her husband Billy Wayne Nappier. Mrs. Nappier was a member at Second Baptist Church where she was involved with the XYZ Senior Organization. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base as an Items Manager. Survivors include her daughter Susan Tharpe of Savannah, son Craig Nappier of Kathleen, sister Sylvia Wingate of Woodbine, GA, brothers Melvin Alexander of Fountain Valley, CA, Don and Neal Alexander both of Soddy Daisy, TN, Glenn Alexander of Huntington Beach, CA. Contributions may be made to Second Baptist Church Building Fund at 2405 Moody Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31088 or to the American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 4406, Macon, GA 31208 in memory of Mrs. Nappier. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
