Obituary of Ruby Estell Patton

Byron, GA: Ruby Estell Patton, 86, passed away on Monday April 19, 2010, in Perry, GA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Crosspoint Baptist Church in Perry with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Rev. Jeremy Morton and Rev. Clint Humphrey will officiate. Mrs. Patton was born in Bethlehem, GA. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Trumie Brown Shore. She was also preceded in death by her husband John H. Patton. Mrs. Patton was a homemaker and a member of the Crosspoint Baptist Church in Perry. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Survivors include her children Sonny Becky Patton of Centerville, Barbara Stan Comeau of Perry, Dian Evans of Salisbury, NC, Wayne Linda Patton of Bonaire, Debra Herb Hester of Reynolds, Joyce Walter Howard of Carrollton, Kevin Patton of Cochran, sister Cathalene Ernest Walls of Monroe, GA, 24 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Heritage Memorial Funeral and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
