Obituary of Madeleine W. Yates

Warner Robins, GA: Madeleine W. Yates, 88, passed away on Thursday April 22, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until service time on Saturday. Mrs. Yates was born in Early County, GA to the late Charlie Alexander and Maude June Rachel Williamson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Milton Yates. In the past, Mrs. Yates has been involved with some senior clubs in Macon. She was a lady with many talents. She loved to bake cakes, pies and cheese straws for her family and friends. Another position she had was to demonstrate products and foods at different stores thru out the Warner Robins and Macon area. Mrs. Yates was retired from Robins Air Force Base as a parachute packer and was a member of the NARFE. Survivors include her son Douglas M. Ann Hatcher of Woodstock, GA, daughter Darla Hatcher Key of Warner Robins, eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, four great great granddaughters and two brothers Milton Williamson of TX and Hilton Rachel of NC. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
