Obituary of Chiquita B. Green

Kathleen, GA: Chiquita B. Green, 80, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Doug Boss will officiate. Mrs. Green was born Aragon, GA. She was the daughter of the late Dewey H. Wright and Addie Bell Wright She was also preceded in death by her husband James R. Green and a daughter Connie Cooper. Mrs. Green was a former employee with Milliken Mills in LaGrange and a member of the Bonaire United Methodist Church. One of her past enjoyments was when she sang with the Heavenly Echos Gospel Quartet. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her daughter Teresa James Middleton of Kathleen, step daughters Nancy Marshall Lewis of Lawrenceville, GA, Linda BL Abernathy of Rockmart, GA, grandchildren Tammy Shay Little, David James, Ashley Cooper, Michael Cooper, Angela Richard Rudd, Mark, Robin, Jason, Barbara Ellen, Sharon, Janie, Lee and great grandchildren Ethan, Sarah, Lacy, Joshua, Devon, Maisy, Sam and her son-in-law Wayne Cooper. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
