Obituary of Robert E. Bob Durham

Byron/Lake Sinclair, GA; Mr. Robert E. ?Bob? Durham, Sr. 76, passed away at his daughters residence on Monday, May 24, 2010. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 from 6:00 ? 8:00 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 2:00 PM in Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Magnolia Park Cemetery with full military honors. Mr. Durham was born on November 17, 1933, in Chattanooga, TN to the late George and Ruth Barnes Durham. Bob was an honorably discharged retired veteran of the U.S. Air Force and member of the VFW and Elks Lodge in Eatonton, GA. He is survived by his wife Helen Childs Durham of Lake Sinclair, GA; sons Robert Eddie Durham Jr. of Byron GA; George Scott Pam Durham of Kathleen, GA; daughters Rita D. West of San Antonio, TX; Connie Lynn Jerry Brewer of Byron, GA; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, sisters; Barbara Wilson and Loretta Courtney both of Chattanooga, TN. Flowers will be accepted however, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
