Obituary of Harriette Antonio

Warner Robins, GA: Harriette Antonio passed away on Saturday morning, June 5, 2010 at the Warner Robins Rehab and Nursing Center. Services will be held on Friday June 11th at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in the Parkway Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Antonio was born Mary Harriette Suffridge in Jackson, Georgia on December 8, 1919. She graduated from Jackson High School in 1937. She was working as a telephone operator for Southern Bell when she married George P. Antonio of the US Army later USAF January 2, 1942. She was then a military wife until their retirement in 1967. They then moved to Warner Robins where she was active in the Women?s Club, Lions Club, The Robinettes and was a Red Cross Volunteer for many years. They were enthusiastic participants in square dancing and round dancing clubs in the Middle Georgia area. She is survived by her children Phillip and Donna Antonio, Jack and Carmen Antonio, grandchildren Paul Shanrock, David and Nora Rich and great grandchildren Asher and Elden Rich and a brother Frank M. Suffridge. In lieu of flowers she requested that donations be made to the American Red Cross @ P.O. Box 4406, Macon, Georgia, 31208. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
