Obituary of Joel Culpepper

Warner Robins: Joel “”Joey”” Culpepper Jr., 35, passed away on Monday September 6, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Friday at Second Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Rev. Tim Millwood will officiate. Mr. Culpepper was a lifelong resident of Warner Robins. He was a member of Second Baptist Church. He was a 1993 graduate of Warner Robins High School and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in English Education from The University of Georgia. He was a published poet and member of a poetry society. His grandparents, Margaret Flowers and W. J. & Carolyn Culpepper, all preceded him in death. He was also employed at Ikon Office Solutions. Survivors include his parents Joel and Diana Culpepper of Warner Robins. Brother; Shaun Kathy Culpepper of McDonough. Fiancé; Mandy Kipa of Warner Robins. Grandfather; William E. Flowers of Warner Robins. Nephews; Tyler and Andrew as well as many aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM Friday at second Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Camp Mak-a-Dream Children’s Oncology Foundation, P. O. Box 1450, Missoula, Montana, 59806. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
