Obituary of Laura Ovell Fortenberry

Centerville: Laura Ovell Fortenberry, 89, passed away on Monday September 20, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Rev. Joe Maynard will officiate. Mrs. Fortenberry was born in Summerville, GA to the late David and Tabitha Weaver Tallent and was the widow of Ollie H. Fortenberry. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons Hughston Lisa Fortenberry of Elkmont, AL and Darryl Fortenberry of Centerville. Sister; Mildred Cordle of Melbourne, FL. Granddaughter; Bree Fortenberry of Elkmont, AL. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Northside Baptist Church, 1013 Carl Vinson Pkwy, Warner Robins, GA 31093. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
