Obituary of David B. McCoy

Centerville: Rev. David B. McCoy, 70, passed away on Thursday September 23, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Rev. Adelene Gray and Associate Pastor Elizabeth Clark will officiate. Mr. McCoy was born in Acworth, GA to the late Robert and Margaret Gann McCoy. He was a member of the Faith in Action Pentecostal Church and an Ordained Minister. He was also preceded in death by his children David McCoy Jr., Charlie McCoy, Victor Luke McCoy and Patricia Andrews. Survivors include his wife of 37 years Shelia L. McCoy of Centerville. Children; Daniel McCoy of Montana, Rhonda Scott of Warner Robins, Sheila Stevens of South Carolina, James McCoy of South Carolina. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM Saturday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
