Obituary of Bessie Lou Berryhill

Warner Robins: Bessie Lou Berryhill, 85, passed away on Monday October 11, 2010. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Rev. Duane Fernandez will officiate. Mrs. Berryhill was born in Bleckley County to the late David and Mary Meeks Purser. She was a member of Warwick Baptist Church and the Lion’s Club in Warwick, GA. She was a retired beautician. She was also preceded in death by her son David Russell Berryhill. Survivors include her husband Lucian Berryhill of Warner Robins. Children: Betsy John Mullis of Perry, Sue John Vansant of Albany and Gary Kathy Berryhill of Warner Robins. Brother, Jim Purser of Wetumpka, AL. Grandchildren: Jason Hammock, Nikki Doug Jernigan, Chelcey Berryhill and Clay Berryhill. Great grandchildren: Cameron and Patterson Jernigan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 277 MLK Jr. Blvd, Macon, GA 31021. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
