Obituary of Edith Lockaby Wofford

Warner Robins, GA: Mrs. Edith Lockaby Wofford, 88, passed away at her residence Friday, 15 October 2010. Friends may visit the family at the Wofford residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, 18 October 2010 in Parkway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Mrs. Wofford was born in Pelzer, South Carolina on April 23, 1922 to the late Mr. William Jasper and Mrs. Mattie Ellison Lockaby. Edith was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Clifford Alonzo Wofford. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and she was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter Mrs. Lydia John Paul of Warner Robins; Brother Bill Margaret Lockaby of Pickens, SC; Sisters, Mary Alice Cooley of Pelzer, SC; Sue Jim Frances Shaw of Anderson, SC; Pearl Stone of Atlanta, GA; also six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.0 Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
