Obituary of Neal B. Weidman

Warner Robins, GA. – Neal B. Weidman, 78, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018. Funeral services for Neal will be Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 1:00Pm in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service from 12:00PM-1:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.

Neal B. Weidman was born June 29, 1940 in Reading, Pennsylvania to the late Lynn and Verna Weidman. Neal was a self-employed painting-contractor who was still working at the right old age of 78. Neal was a hard worker and would do anything to help a friend or a stranger in need. He was the kind of man that never met a stranger and if he did, most fell in love with him from the start. Neal was a family man who cherished his wife, daughters and especially his grandchildren, who he adored. Neal was your typical outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt in his early years, but for the most part he just loved working outside in his yard. He had a high interest in astronomy and loved reading and learning the science about the stars and the universe above us all. One of Neal’s greatest passions were his dogs, especially “Lucy”. Neal was a husband, father, grandfather and a friend who will be greatly missed by all.

Neal is preceded in death by parents along with his grandparents, Howard and Jenny Seiger.

Neal B. Weidman is survived by his devoted wife, Vickie Weidman of Warner Robins; Three daughters, Kira Weidman of Savannah, Jennifer (Tim) Phelps and Noel Weidman, both of Warner Robins; Grandchildren, Nathan, Kendall, Taylor, Brendan, and Jordon; great grandchild, Lili; Brothers, Drenning H. Weidman and Gerald B. (Trauta) Weidman; several nieces and nephews.
