Obituary of Olga Crawford

Byron Ga. - Olga Crawford, 85, made her transition out of this life and on to her next adventure on  Thursday, January 17, 2019. Services celebrating her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that donations be made to The Peach Senior Center, 101 Murray Rd Ext, Fort Valley, GA 31030.

Olga was known for her caring spirit and willingness to always help anyone in need. She was a talented seamstress and designer. Her interest in hand crafts led her to her favorite job, that of designer and crafter of quilts, and instructor of quilting at The Peach Senior Center. When Olga was not making quilts, she could be found in her kitchen cooking delicious meals for family and friends, playing with her dogs, and enjoying the occasional dance with a one-armed bandit. When she walked into a room, Olga’s enthusiasm and love of life turned a mundane gathering into an instant party. Her creative spirit and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Olga is survived by her children and grandchildren who take comfort in knowing that while her physical presence is no longer with us, the Love is Eternal.
