Obituary of Ryan Christopher Rawls

Macon, GA- Ryan Christopher Rawls, 38, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 28, 2019.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday February 1, 2019 in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.  Reverend Craig Hutto will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00PM to 2:00PM.  

Ryan was born January 21, 1981 in San Antonio, Texas.  He was an independent thinker - he loved to read and learn about a vast variety of topics, especially anything involving a computer.  He had an affectionate and gentle, loving heart, particularly for animals.  In his spare time he liked to volunteer at Daybreak Homeless Shelter and play drums.  

He was a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle and nephew who will be greatly missed.

His memory will forever be treasured by his parents, Charles and Donna Rawls; brother, Sean Rawls (Mindy), Atlanta; nephews, Lionel and Macsen; grandmother, Emogene Kelley; uncle, Avis Kelley; 2 cats, Buddy and Panda; 2 dogs, Zelda and Ollie, who he loved dearly.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Daybreak Homeless Shelter, 174 Walnut Street, Macon GA, 31201.

Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
