Obituary of Arthur Thomas Turner

Centerville, GA- Arthur Thomas Turner, 83, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Osceola Memory Gardens in Kissimmee, Florida.  A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.

Arthur was born on May 3, 1936 in Plains, Georgia, to the late Sam and Bessie Rigby Turner. He was retired from Real Estate and worked for Lester Mann in Florida. Arthur loved to make money and didn’t mind spending it. If he saw something he liked, he bought it. He enjoyed spending time with his family who he loved and adored.  He was a loving brother, uncle and cousin who will be greatly missed.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his two brothers, William Earl Turner and Sam Turner, Jr.

His memory will forever be cherished by his aunt, Martha Grimsley (Walter), Centerville; step-brother, Calvin Rigby (Marie), Columbus; nephew, Sam Turner, Twiggs County; and several cousins.
