David was a consummate journalist and a compassionate manager. I was fortunate to work with him (in multiple places). He was an underappreciated editor, and knew where the skeletons were buried in Middle Georgia. At the same time, he was knowledgeable but not boastful. He helped me polish my stories, mainly because he was a great storyteller himself. I am forever in his debt. We will meet again, my friend.

David, you were a true friend and loved Warner Robins. You were my sounding board during my election years and I know your advice helped me win. I miss the talks you , Donald Walker and I had in his office. You will be missed but will still remain in my memory when I look for internal advice

David was my friend. We lived across the street from each other on McArthur Blvd. beginning when we were but toddlers. We played together with all the other great kids until I moved away in the third grade. But we still went to school together after that. David was an "entertainer" in school. After many years apart, every time I saw him around town, it was great to see him smile and I loved to make him laugh. I'm so sorry for the family's loss. Please know he was very much loved. David and I worked together at WRPB in Warner Robins. It was his and my start in radio. We both dreamed and planned to own our own radio station. Life took us in different directions, he furthered his radio, tv and journalism career and I went in the direction of TV engineering. We had many great times together he will be missed.

I am greatly saddened to learn of Mr. Cranshaw's passing today. I had the privilege to work alongside him every Saturday morning for over four years as he hosted the Home and Garden program with Mr. Tony Bass on WNNG 1350AM, for which I served as the board operator and producer. We also put together some (entertaining) broadcasts for local elections during those years. Later, I had the opportunity to work for him at the Warner Robins Patriot as the web editor. We had our share of laughter and smiles whether it was in the studio or the newsroom and I will always be grateful for Mr. Cranshaw's generosity and encouragement in times of great uncertainty. Please accept my deepest condolences to all of his friends and family.

To Judy & Family of David,
We've known David since we came to Warner Robins in 1992 when the Air Force sent us here - what a Blessing to have known David as a friend not just through his work with the Telegraph, but also with the Chamber of Commerce and All Saints Episcopal Church. He will be missed by all who knew him.
We pray that you will be comforted, and blessed with Peace, knowing that your loved one is safely in the arms of His Lord.
With Love, Prayers & Blessings, Pat, Dee Bartness

Many memories of David. Latin class at MDS, We were teamed up on a project to build a bridge over the Rubicon. Couldn't get together because busy with other things. Went in on the due date to ask for more time. Sister Michael Joseph gave us both a zero. We were in Macon in the middle of summer in David's Willys wagoneer. We stopped at the red light at 3rd St. and Cherry St. The linkage had dropped off the steering wheel. I got out of the car laid down on my back in 100 degree heat and put it back on and cruised Cherry St. before heading to the Pig. We also saw each other when we were at UGA. Rest in Peace dear friend. Tommy
