I am just learning of Mr. Kimball’s transition. Mr. Kimball was such a beloved and respected member of our school staff at Thomson Middle School. It was always a joy to see or hear him in the hallways. I enjoyed talking with him and my students loved him. Laverne Jones.

Many years ago I was deeply and profoundly touched by Doug’s display of kindness, patience, and compassion when I witnessed his interactions with my teenage daughter and young son during their participation in the Audubon summer camp program. He had a lasting influence on my daughter’s development into becoming a beautiful person, educator and lifelong learner. He gracefully imbued my son’s sense of himself with purpose. From their mother’s point of view, I am grateful for Doug’s presence in their lives. ~Joan Danko I sincerely appreciate all of the ways that Doug enriched my life. ~Tommy Danko
