Just heard about Sammie. I am her cousin (Fern's Daughter) and am so sorry to hear of the family's loss. It has been a difficult few years for the Rupe family.

I met Sammie when she was in high school in Dallas, TX but it was a few years after she graduated and had children that we met up again and have considered ourselves family ever since. My mother and I visited Sammie, Tim and Brandon while they were living in Alaska and it was a special treat for mother and me. Now that they live in Georgia I loved that Sammie would pick up the grands in Arkansas and bring them to Dallas for a few days visit. Going out of her way and all that extra driving never seemed to matter, just that she could do it and stay in touch. Sammie, I've really missed seeing you since all the lock-downs have kept us apart. Say hello to all my family, that you know so well, who have gone before us. To the rest of her loving family I send my deepest sympathy for your loss.
