A very gentle and pious soul who will be greatly missed, but who we can say with confidence is now with the Lord. Sacred Heart Church will not be the same without her.
When my family first moved to Georgia, she took us in until we had a place to stay. Perhaps we rowdy little kids grew on her, because she bought us Christmas gifts until I turned 25! My favorite gift is a beautiful status of St. Francis of Assisi that she gave me when I joined the Capuchin Franciscans.
My condolences to all her family and friends that will also miss her.

This is from Francis, Mary's brother in the UK, who is not on facebook, so I have spoken with him and he has asked me to post this.
In memory of my beloved Sister Mary. Distance kept us apart in later life but I loved all of our telephone and Facetime calls. You will be forever missed but will always be in my heart your brother Frano (Francis) London UK.
Thank you for all the kind words about my sister, it has been very comforting to hear them as my family have read them all to me and the obituaries and memorial. Rest in Peace Mary.

My dear aunt Mary, what a blessing and a privilege it was to have you as part of our family. Know that you will never be forgotten and always loved by all of us in the family across the globe.
I look back with nostalgia, on the many times I visited you across the years, first being in Tampa, when I came with my friend John you were so welcoming and hospitable, I knew then, I would be back again and again.
The many pilgrimages we made to, Conyers Georgia, EWTN Alabama, singing our hearts out, as we drove those many miles across state lines, with a couple of rosary's thrown in for good measure, asking 'Our Lady' to protect us on our travels and that we would arrive safely. Could have been something to do, with my driving, coming from a country that drives on the left! Oh and not forgetting those times working in the back yard in 90 degree heat, being attacked by dive bombing Mosquitos, suffering from swelling on arms and legs, you would simply say to me "offer it up"
I shall miss your home made Cherry pie, your cooking which was on par with my mother's, who I know wont mind me saying that, god rest her soul.
My summer holidays are never going to be the same again, we would, have been back if it wasn't for Covid, it simply wasn't meant to be, god had other plans.
My aunt was very special to me, it saddens me that I am so far away, that I can't be there to bid her a final good bye. We will meet again.
Your loving nephew.
Daniel xx

Mary will be missed here on earth, but now she's well and happy in a much better place. I'm blessed for knowing this sweet spiritual lady. So glad our paths crossed over 30 years ago when her precious daughter joined our family, and we share a granddaughter. I'm sure she has already found Glenn and making him happy as he always enjoyed talking with Mary.
May God Bless and her memories will comfort you all and know I love you Mary and Danielle.

Auntie Mary, my amazing Godmother lived her life to the full.
She was young at heart, funny with her little quips, brilliant at crosswords, mental maths second to none, whilst embracing new technology. Her dedication to the service of others is truly inspirational, especially within the church community.
She loved watching U.K. period dramas & any programme showing the English countryside, Miss Marple comes to mind.
Always talked warmly of her early life in Liverpool growing up with her brothers Eddie & Frano. Her memory was fantastic & every time I visited another unknown fact about my father Danny would come to light.
She loved her cup of tea, glass of Pinot Noir, treats from M&S, Italian food & eating out at Carrabbas was a given. Her Sunday roast dinners are legendary & cherry pie always made for a Daniel.
I am going to miss her terribly, life without her will be hard but I take comfort in knowing that she will resting peacefully under the mantle of Our Lady whom she loved so much.
I will try to keep true to her exemplary virtues, values & wisdom. FAITH FAMILY & FRIENDS
LOVE YOU ANNE XXX

My heart is hurting so bad right now. I have taught CCD with Miss Mary off and on since 1999. I've taught 2nd grade with her for 7 of those years. Our consolation is that she is truly a saint in heaven now, after being one on Earth. I can't wait to see you again. To all of her family, thank you for sharing her with Sacred Heart for all of these years. I am truly a better person for knowing her.

Mary was the kindest and most gentle person. She was such a dear friend to me for the past 8 plus years and her loss is heartbreaking. She had so much wisdom and always gave the best advice. The light of Christ was seen shining through her. My sincerest sympathy and prayers are for her family. Eternal rest grant unto Mary, oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her, may her soul Rest In Peace.
