Obituary of Jerome Leftwich

Jerome Stanley Leftwich, age 73, went to be with his Lord and Savior August 27, 2021. A celebration of his life will be held Monday, August 30th, 2021 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. The friends can greet the family from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home August 30th, 2021. Jerome was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on February 13th, 1948 to the late Gorman Lee Leftwich, Sr. and the late Dorothy Minor Leftwich. He is also preceded in death by his brother Leonard Leftwich. Jerome was a kind and loving man who enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family; including his dog, Bachy and his grand-dog, Diamond. He was a passionate Dallas Cowboy Football fan. Jerome attended Robins Air Force Base Church with his dear wife, Nellie Leftwich. He was also a member of the Men's Social and Savings Club in Macon , Georgia.

Jerome Leftwich will be remembered by his wife, Nellie Williams Leftwich; children, Juanita Leftwich, Jacqueline Leftwich, Jeri Mughal, Andrew Leftwich, Zolton Byrd, Ian Byrd, Solitaire (James) Williams; step-children, Nancy (Dwayne) Gates, Chenieve (John Lake) Williams; grandchildren, Jasmine Leftwich, Yaasameen Mughal, Khaliq Mughal, Aaliyah Mughal, Jawaun Byrd, Ihyana Byrd, Chykeeyah Byrd, Tiann Byrd; siblings, Gorman Lee (Carol) Leftwich, Jr., Claudine (Steven) Foster; sister-in-law, Emma Leftwich; parent-in-laws, Jackie and Mattie Jones. Sister-n-law Vanetta (Ronald)Bellows , Brother -n-law Paul (DeeBorah) Mathis, Sisters -n-law Miyoshi Levy and Miiki (Louis )Jones. A host of extended friends and family; nieces and nephews.
