Obituary of Wayne F. Barkalow

Macon, GA- Wayne F Barkalow, 90, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022. Services are private.

Wayne was born April 16, 1932 in Freehold, New Jersey to the late Fred and Evelyn Barkalow. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. Wayne later worked as a machinist for an Electronics company, Amphenol. Wayne was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother and everyone who knew him will miss him.

In addition to his parents, Wayne is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Junie Barkalow; sister, Karen Marvin; and brother, William Barkalow.

Wayne is survived by his sons: Timothy (Julie) Johnson of Macon; John (Sandra) Johnson of South Carolina, and Bryan (Christina) Barkalow of Tennessee; grandchildren: Amanda Johnson of South Carolina, Stephanie Freed of Florida, and Beth Futrell currently stationed with her husband in Korea; sister, Marlene Prentice; and two great grandchildren.
