Obituary of Robert Lipko

Robert J. Lipko passed away November 29, 2022. He was 59 years old.  Robert was born September 6, 1963 in Wayne, Michigan to Daniel Cottrell, Sr. and Deborah Smith Johnston.  He was the true definition of a boy, loving all sports but especially baseball and football. His favorite baseball team was the Atlanta Braves and NFL team the Pittsburgh Steelers.  He was a star baseball athlete.  In Robert's youth he traveled with the circus and trained chimpanzees.  He performed evening shows with the primates displaying his hard work and their honed skills.

Robert's most prized venture was being a father, his son was the apple of his eye and he was devoted to everything encompassing being a dad.  He is survived by his son, Justin Lipko of Gray, Georgia; mother, Deborah Johnston and stepfather, James H. Johnston, Jr. of Macon, Georgia, brother, Daniel L. Cotrell; sisters, Deanna Huggett and Dawn Burns.  He is also survived by his beloved dogs.
