Obituary of Jimmy Lee "Bobo" Mullis, Jr.

Mr. Jimmy Lee Mullis Jr., “BoBo” 56, passed away peacefully at his home on February 20, 2023. A memorial service will be held at the family's residence on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 1:00PM.

Jimmy was born in Georgia to the late Shirley and Jimmy Mullis. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife and mother of his children, Carolyn Jo Mullis; beloved second wife, Sheila Mullis; and grandfather, Hoke Bowen. Jimmy was a proud and honorable man who took great pride in his dear family and work. He was a self-employed Brick and Block Mason for over 40 years. While Jimmy was not working he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and siblings. When Jimmy wasn't spending time with his family, you could find him in his garage fixing up his old '78 and '79 Ford trucks, riding his four wheeler and casting a fishing line.

Jimmy is survived by his cherished children: Samantha Jo Mullis (Joe), Casandra (Joseph) Starnes, Jimmy Lee Mullis, III, Kenneth Camp, Shane Wade, Joseph Belanger, and Shawna Howell; father-in-law, Johnny Texas Barton; grandchildren: Alyssa Alexander, Sophia Mullis, Kayla Alexander, Mason Mullis, Saylor Starnes, Keira Thomas, Rylynn Belanger, Rhiley Wade, Hannah Wade, Hayden Wade, Lenny Gupton Jr, and Larissa Sevan; siblings: Charles Mullis, Joni (Michael) Stewart, and Jami (Brian) Anderson; and a host of extended friends and family.
