I just seen that Rusty passed. I worked with Rusty at Yokota AB. He was an absolute joy to work with, as he was such an intelligent and personable guy. It didn't matter what position he was assigned to, as he always performed brilliantly. He would often work into the night to keep on top of his duties as he went after all his tasks with lust. I personally remember when he worked as one of our Wing Inspection Team members, and he would put up a cot in his office to evaluate the early morning recalls so we would not have to come in early. Truly always acted in a selfless manner always putting others before himself. My last encounter with him was when I had to leave the career field to become a First Sergeant, I was so proud coming back as a diamond wearer and attending my last roll call at the department and being able to call him up in front of his peers to issue my first coin to him. Love and Miss you Rusty!
