Obituary of Frances Gail Atkinson

Frances Gail Atkinson, 71, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Atrium Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia.  Gail was born September 24, 1951 to the late Bernard Atkinson and Edna Haynes Atkinson in Eastman, Georgia.  At the request of the family all services will be private. 

Gail enjoyed the outdoors. Fishing at the river and camping were a few of her favorite things.  She and her family even camped for 7 months in Dublin, Georgia.  Gails' family was her pride and joy, she was always available when they needed her.  She was caring, kind, and thoughtful spouse, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and GiGi; she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Gail is survived by her spouse, William "Ricky" Johnson; sons: Mike (Latesa) Williams and James Williams; step daughter, Michelle (Shannon) Callaway; grandchildren: Jonathan Williams, David Williams, Macie Williams, and Melissa (Rodney) Stone; step grandchildren: Caitlin Reid and Declan Callaway; great grandchildren: Emma Williams and Audrey Williams; sister, Wanda (Jonah) Riner and a host of extended family and friends.
