Obituary of Mary Nell Carter

Ms. Mary Nell Carter, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savoir, Friday, June 30, 2023. A celebration of her life will be held in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, Thursday, 2:00PM in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Brother Jim Kerr will officiate.
Mary was born to William and Vivian Massey on December 15, 1932 in Quitman, GA. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Ann Cornett; son, Sydney Carter; and sister, Barbara Massey. Mary was a devoted Christian who dedicated her life to serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a loyal member of Warner Robins Church of Christ where she enjoyed reading the lords beautiful scripture. Mary also enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and friends. Mary was a loving sister, grandmother, and dear friend who will be deeply missed.
Mary is survived by her beloved brother, Kenneth Massey; sister, Billie R. Waller; three grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and a host of extended friends and family.
