Obituary of Heather Sheffield Vredenburg

Heather Sheffield Vredenburg, 53, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, September 15, 7:00PM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory.
Heather was born July 2, 1970 in Akron, Ohio. Kathleen Abbott and the late Harry Abbott were her parents. She worked in civil service as an aircraft mechanic for Robins Air Force Base. Heather enjoyed traveling, many times heading to the beach to take in the salty air and the beautiful sunshine. Her favorite destination was Destin, Florida. Heather was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister and everyone who knew her will miss her.
In addition to Heather's father, her brother, Phillip Abbott precedes her in death.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her loving husband of 8 years, Chris Vredenburg; son, Jesse Sheffield of Warner Robins; mother, Kathleen Abbott; and a host of extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr. Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
