Obituary of Lisa Elaine Parker Owens

Lisa Elaine Parker Owens, 60, departed this life on October 4, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Lisa was born on March 20, 1963 in Thomaston, Ga. to Mrs. Miriam Yates Parker and the late  Mr. William Curtis Parker. Lisa devoted her life to raising her three sons, spending time with her sisters, and enjoying the outdoors with her beloved dogs. Lisa was a devout Christian and regularly attended services, even after her diagnosis and while undergoing treatment.

Lisa is survived by her loving sons, John (Sarah), Jonah (Amanda), and Jesse (Bailey); her parents  Miriam and Henry Benson, siblings Judith “Dodi” Parker, Chris Parker, and Melinda Parker, as well as nieces and nephews, several grandchildren, and an abundance of friends and extended family. Lisa will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held at the First Christian Church in Warner Robins on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made in Lisa’s memory to the First Christian Church, 810 Collins Ave. Warner Robins, Ga 31093.
