Obituary of Stephanie N Ponegalek

Stephanie Nicole Ponegalek, 35, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 12, 2023. A celebration of life service will take place this Thursday, October 19, 5:00PM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Stephanie was born July 27, 1988 in Redondo Beach, California. She graduated with the class of 2007 from Houston County High School where she was an accomplished and dedicated varsity competition cheerleader. Stephanie, being the outgoing person she was, worked as a bartender at various locations over the years. In her spare time, she exercised her green thumb and enjoyed gardening all types of flowers, succulents, and plants in general. Stephanie attended the Heritage Baptist Church in Perry, Georgia and loved her family and friends immensely. Everyone who knew her will miss her dearly.

Stephanie’s grandmothers: Linda Watson and Ellen Tormo, precede her in death.

Stephanie is survived by her father, Chris (Alana Michelle) Ponegalek; mother, Susan (Frank) Rodriguez; brother, Jason (Anna Phillips) Ponegalek; grandfathers: Stanley Ponegalek and Manuel Tormo; step grandmother, Lelis Tormo; step siblings: Brantley Ivey, Abigail Ivey, Corey Rodriguez, Christopher Rodriguez, and Jonathan Rodriguez; aunt, Diana Tormo; uncles: Manuel A. Tormo and Scott Ponegalek; life companion, Matthew Hampton; and her beloved fur baby, Gracie.
