Mickey had the most infectious smile. He was special. He would make me so mad sometimes but then he would text or call and I wouldn't be mad anymore. He really was loved by God and had such a way about him. I'm glad we stayed in touch and that we got to talk after he came home. He will be missed. He is with Mike now and I will see them both again one day. Gone but not forgotten ever.

Mickey was such a sweet soul and he had such a good heart! He was like a brother to me and he meant a lot to me along with Gina and her whole family. I even named my son Nathan and he and I had a good giggle about me naming my son after him. I am heartbroken at this loss and I prayed for his soul to find peace with our father in heaven. I will never forget him and the good times we had together hanging out in the car-port or riding in the car jamming to lil’ wayne and going to get milk at the walgreens on the corner, or trying to hep him with the dishes and playing basketball in the driveway. He was always there to listen to my problems and be a light of encouragement for me. I exchanged texts with him on the 6th of November, telling him how great I was finally doing, and he was so happy for me, and I knew his heart was genuine. We have truly lost a dear friend, son, and brother and my heart and prayers go out to you all.

Mickey was an amazing person. I loved him deeply and truly.. I spoke to him just days before his death and he promised me he was doing what was best to better his life. Our friendship goes back 13 years . My heart is shattered. Prayers to his family who I know is feeling this deeply. Sending my condolences. I will miss him so much.

Mickey had such a big influence on my life as a teenager. Some of my favorite memories were with him. The last time Mickey and I spoke he told me how proud he was of me and how beautiful my kids were. I will forever hold on tightly to all my memories and late nights and pillow talks with Mickey. He was one of the most original souls I’ve ever had the pleasure to know. I find peace in knowing he is finally at peace. Love you long time Mickey.

I was sitting at my brother's house , just scrolling away on fb. Mickeys face came up on my timeline and I stopped on it , I hearted it and wrote so handsome, Mickey friend requested me and I had a message from him everyday. Just general conversation. Our messages ended up blossoming into phone calls , face time , letters, and emails. We ended up having a very special bond. I would talk to him for a hours everyday. I always called him my sour patch kid.He was so beautiful inside and out. He was one of the smartest people I ever met, he was very artistic, empathetic, handy, funny , silly, creative and sweet. Mickey was very special to me , I love and miss him very much. My condolences to his family during this difficult time. He will forever have a place in my heart.
