Obituary of Mrs. Erlyslaray Irma Brown

Mrs. ErlysLaRay Irma Brown, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, December 30, 2023.  Erlys born on December 8, 1940 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to the late Lester and Lorna Marberg and was the 6th of 7 children. Erlys loved life, sports, travel, her family, her faith, and her home state of Washington. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by daughters, Terry Seabolt and Robin Seabolt and step-daughter, Janet Davenport. Erlys is survived by her husband of almost 23 years, Donald Brown; children: Donna (Ray) Ord and Gerry (Mike) Criss; step-children:  Cathy (Gary) Miller and Cindi (Brent) Brown; four grandchildren: Robert (Jessica) Rivers, James Rivers, Tyler (Kendra) Criss, and Kelley (Wesley) Briscoe; seven step-grandchildren:  Daniel (Grace) Ord, Kevin (Rachel) Ord, Donnie (Liz) McGuire, Shawn (Megan) Davenport, Jaime (Sven) Burrell, James Coleman, Hillary Miller, Garrison Miller, and Luke Miller; 10 great grandchildren and 5 step-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Leila Jacobson and LolaMay Petett. She set an example for others through her hard work, her ability to see the positive in everyone, and her willingness to assist others. She will be remembered for her strength and compassion.

A celebration of her life will be in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 3:00 PM. A visitation for the friends and family will be held at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Wednesday, January 3, 2024 between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM. A committal service will immediately follow at Parkway Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Alzheimer’s Research or Happy Hour Service Center.
