Obituary of Nellie Cleghorn Mull

Nellie Cleghorn Mull passed away peacefully the evening of Wednesday, January 3, 2024. She was 81 years old.  A funeral service will be held Monday, January 8, 2024 at 11 AM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory.  A visitation will take place one hour prior between the hours of 10 AM and 11 AM.  Interment will immediately follow the service at Parkway Memorial Gardens.  Dr. Mike Parker will officiate. 

Nellie was born December 13, 1942 in Rebecca, Georgia to the late Marion Cleghorn and Zellie Parks Cleghorn.  She was a retired civil servant with Robins Air Force Base and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Her love for her family was unmatched and impressively displayed by how she cared for them.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Mull; son, Kenneth Golden; and 6 siblings.

She is survived by her cherished children: Angela (Don) Harvey and Robert (Laura) Golden; grandchildren: Tiffany (Cody) Taylor, D.J. Harvey, Megan (Robby) Hinson, Danielle Golden, Heather (Josh) Gilbert, Tyler Harvey and Robert Golden, III; 5 great grandchildren: Ansleigh, Aubreigh, Brandon, Amara and Raylin; brother, Cody (Joan) Cleghorn; and a host of extended family and friends.
