William "Bill" L. Outz, Sr., 83, surrounded by his family passed away peacefully, Sunday, March 3, 2024.  A memorial service will be held at a later date with inurnment at Georgia National Cemetery.

Bill was born December 9, 1940 in Hartwell, Georgia to the late Luther "Charlie" Outz and Sara Dickerson Outz Bradley.  Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Martha Outz Taylor.  He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force then transitioned into self employment.  Outz Home Construction was created and flourished for many years.  Bill enjoyed building houses and helping families’ dream homes become a reality.  When he wasn't working he could be found watching Braves baseball and the UGA Bulldogs, golfing, or wetting a hook in a creek to catch the biggest fish. He accomplished his goal of becoming a private pilot and owned a small plane.  He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his cherished wife, Wilma Lawrence Outz; children: Wendy Keene (Gregg Robinson), William Outz, Jr., W. Richard (Susan) Outz; siblings: Betty Outz Byrd, Lamar (Marilyn) Outz; grandchildren: Katie (John), Noelle (Eric), Colin, Lane, Cole (Quinn), and Jessica (Austin); great grandchildren: James, and one baby girl on the way; and a host of extended family and friends.
