Obituary of Stella Ada Reeve Meeks

Stella Ada Reeve Meeks, 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, May 6, 2024. A graveside service will be held at Andersonville National Cemetery for family; she will be laid to rest with her husband.

Stella was born on May 21, 1931 in Bicester, England to the late William and Louisa Reeve. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Quincy Lanier Meeks and her siblings.

Stella retired after numerous years as an antique dealer. She had an extraordinary sense of humor, was a gifted artist, and was a safe haven to many animals. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Stella is survived by her beloved children:  Andrea (Craig) Taylor and William (Lori) Meeks; grandchildren: Amber Baugh, Jessica (Robert) Mancusi, Emily (Matt) Baldino, Jake Taylor and Rachel (Dylan) Baxter; four great grandchildren; and a host of extended friends and family.
