What a long gracious life!! Can't help but lean back and picture the reunion, in Heaven, she had with the family members that had gone on before her. Had to be a spectacular site to behold! Only second to coming face to face with her/our Savior!!
Grace and Peace to the Family,
Bruce Robinson

Melvin and I would like to share our condolences to the family of Mrs Esther. She was a neighbor, went to church together at First Baptist Centerville before she got disabled and wasn't able to be active and live at home. I have had the pleasure of sending cards to her for many years. I can't remember how long it has been. I have tried to be faithful to send her a card at least once a month but there were a few times that health issues with me has made it to where I had to skip a few. I so enjoyed sending her the cards and hope that she got some pleasure from receiving them.

She was such a loving lady and attended many Thanksgivings with her Grandson, Gene and his Wife, Sheri Spillers. I especially remember her loving to hold each Baby that was born into the Family. She made the best Sweet Potato Casserole. We will remember with fond memories.
Sincerely, Sarah Roberts

Grandma Esther, I loved you so much but I'm happy that you are finally HOME. You loved my Mama and she so loved you, I'm sure Mama was happy to greet you when you walked through the heavenly gates.
I want to share a poem my Mama wrote. It was read at her funeral and I think it is very fitting for you as you were just as much a strong Christian woman as she was.❤️
"As I gazed at a Beautiful Sunset"
By Jewell Allen
As I gazed at a beautiful sunset, a wonderful thought came to me. That the death of a real true Christian is as much like that as can be.
When a Christian closes his eyes in death, the ray's of his life shine on. Even though he has gone up yonder to sing around the white throne.
But the terrible thought of a sinner, when at last he has come to die; is that of a gloomy sunset, when the clouds have covered the sky.
Your choice of a beautiful sunset or a dark and gloomy sky, depends on the life you're now living.
Which will it be when you die?

You can clearly see the love in her eyes for her two sons (Melvin and Wayne) who were her pride and joy.

Gene and I wanted to share one of the many notes Grandma Esther wrote in her bible. She truly was a testament to her faith.
“Thank you Jesus for bringing God of the heavens and the earth. I thank you that you care so very much about me. I thank you that you have made me know how much you care. Now Jesus fill me with praises the rest of my life.” Esther 1/15/81
