Eva was one of my very first “teacher” friends when I started working at Pearl Stephens and remained a friend through the years. She built a friendship with my dad, Hubert Phillips, and they shared their love of writing books. She will be missed and but never forgotten.

Momma Eva was such a kind soul with the warmest of smiles. She gave such amazing hugs and I enjoyed my time spent with her. She had a strong resilience and raised three fabulous men and brothers. I am just so happy that she was able to enjoy her time with her family especially her young grandchildren. She was the light, love and guiding force of her family. She will be missed. Eva was a beautiful soul. My daughter and I Ariana, met Eva through our church doors at All Saints Episcopal Church, located in Warner Robins. She would hug us as soon as we entered the church. Eva was very heart warming. She will be missed. May God’s Grace comfort Eva’s family during this difficult time. Our condolences and prayers go out to each and every family member in deed. May God comfort your hearts as you grieve. Ms Eva was my other mother who prayed for me thru any life's issues. Her faith and prayers helped me navigate many conflicts in my life. EVA WAS AN AMAZING LADY. SHE WAS A LOVING MOTHER WHO WAS A GREAT EXAMPLE TO HER 3 SONS. SHE WAS A NEIGHBOR, FRIEND AND PRAYER PARTNER FOR MANY MANY YEARS. WE SHARED MANY TEARS BUT ALSO MANY LAUGHS.

Mrs. Haynes was a wonderful teacher and friend. I was honored to work with her at Pearl Stephens and Parkwood Elementary schools. Her annual poetry recitals were a highlight each year. Love and prayers for her family, former students, and friends.

I have such sweet memories of Eva while teaching at the same school with her. She was a very special, intelligent lady. I remember that she had a children’s book published while we were at Pearl Stephens Elementary. Praying for her family!
